Coming Out 11×14

Created Pride weekend 2021. This year I officially came out and acknowledged every facet of the beautifully messy and wonderful woman I am. It doesn’t matter how I came out, the point is that I finally felt safe enough and loved enough by myself to do so. I created this as a means to show that the journey has been by no means an easy one, however it was the most life-changing one I have had yet. I no longer feel ashamed of who I am and now this painting can inspire others to feel the same.
